Make sense of chaos and move forward with clarity

With over 25 years’ experience as an Army Education Officer, I understand what
it’s like to be in complex, even chaotic, high-pressure environments.

My unique skills and experience enable me to offer 1-1 and group coaching to a
variety of clients in a range of contexts.

I left the Army in 2020 to follow my passion to support others. My portfolio career includes: coaching,
mentoring, Learning and Development consultancy, swim teaching, ski instruction, and facilitation.
When I describe this lifestyle to others, the response from many has been, ‘wow, that’s a lot!’ To me,
it isn’t. My various roles bring variety, interest and enable me to apply my unique skills and experience
creatively. I enjoy the blend of roles and activities, and they often complement one another in ways I
would never have imagined. Throughout my military career I learnt to juggle responsibilities, switch quickly from one task to another and draw linkages and identify themes across work-strands.

I bring a series of common threads from this experience into my role as a coach:

-
Flexibility within a structure. Coaching sessions are structured and bounded, whilst allowing freedom for clients to explore in ways that resonate most with them.

-
Curiosity, empathy and a passion for supporting others both personally and professionally.

-
Strategic thinking.

-
Listening without judgement.

-
Integrity and challenge.

-
A sense of creativity and fun coupled with high accountability.

-
Knowledge and understanding of learning styles and neurodivergence.

-
An interest in mental health and wellbeing.
